Visit & Vote: Gingerbread Invitational | On View November 23 – December 31
The Rockwell Museum is pleased to announce the 10th Annual Gingerbread Invitational − a fun, artful gingerbread competition for baking enthusiasts and community members of all skill levels. This year’s theme of Paradise inspired gingerbread renditions of private beaches, cozy snow days, Zen gardens and more. All visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite to win the coveted Community Choice Award. Visit daily, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, December 24 and December 25.
Museum Store Sunday | November 26, 2024
Kick off your holiday shopping with purpose and creativity at Museum Store Sunday. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can explore a curated selection of unique gifts, handcrafted items, and art-inspired treasures in The Rockwell Museum Store. Every purchase directly supports the museum’s mission to connect people, art and ideas. Lil Rockwell | Gingerbread Story Hour with Miss Sue | December 5, 10 a.m.
Enjoy a gingerbread-themed story hour with books, songs, and lots of fun, presented by Miss Sue from the Southeast Steuben County Library! Stay after the stories and explore the self-guided activities in the Art Lab, then go see the Gingerbread Invitational on display in The Rockwell Museum.

From the festive scarf adorning the beloved Artemus the bison on the façade of the building to the annual Gingerbread Invitational, a visit to The Rockwell is the perfect addition to your holiday tradition. We’re pleased to offer free admission all weekend, December 7 & 8, to kick off a memorable holiday season.
Family Day: Sparkle | December 7, 3 – 6 p.m.
Warm up and celebrate Sparkle in Corning’s Gaffer District! At The Rockwell, families are invited to decorate gingerbread cookies and do special holiday-themed Art Hunts. This event is free and open to all ages.
