I’m not sure if I’ve already purchased a subscription, what should I do?

Go to lifeinthefingerlakes.com/subscribe and log in according to the directions. The fact that you can log in to an existing account means you are a subscriber, or have been one in the past. This will tell you if your subscription is active, and if so, how many issues you have remaining. The Magazine is published six times per year.


 

When does my subscription start?

When you purchase a subscription, the start date is noted on your emailed receipt. When you purchase a subscription, it begins with the next published issue. The magazine is published six times per year, so depending on when you order, it could take up to 8 weeks to receive your first issue.


 

When does my subscription end?

Your expiration date is accessed by logging in to your account by clicking here. You will need your account number and zip code found on the front cover of your magazine. If you don’t have your account number, simply call our office and we’ll be glad to help.


 

How many issues does a subscription include?

A one-year subscription is 6 issues; a two-year subscription is 12 issues and a three-year subscription is 18 issues.


 

I received two copies of the same issue? Why did this happen and what can I do about it?

Sometimes we might do a promotional mailing in your area to introduce the magazine to new readers. If you happen to receive an additional copy that says “Complimentary Copy,” please consider passing your extra magazine on to a friend. Thank you!


 

I am a “snowbird”, whose winter address is different than my summer address. How should I handle this?

Simply login to your account using your account number and zip code found on the front cover of your magazine. Change your address before leaving and also upon your return.  It’s that easy.


 

My magazine arrived, but it is damaged, what should I do?

If you are a subscriber, we will gladly replace a magazine that has arrived damaged. Please call or email us, and we will send you a replacement copy.


 

In the past, my magazine came in a plastic sleeve, and now it doesn’t. Why?

In an attempt to reduce plastic waste, we have chosen to eliminate the plastic polybag from most of our mailings. We are also using emailing correspondence, receipts, invoices and renewal reminders whenever possible, to help reduce our use of paper.


 

I know I have an active subscription, but I have not yet received the latest issue. What should I do?

If you have not received your magazine, please check the status of your subscription by logging into your account. If your mailing address is correct, and you still haven’t received your issue, we would be glad to send you a replacement copy.


 

When do each of the 6 issues come out?

If you’re a subscriber, you will receive the issues a few weeks before the first month printed on the cover. For instance, the January/February issue will arrive in your mailbox around the middle of December. The March/April issue will arrive around the middle of February.

The magazine is mailed to paid subscribers first. Newsstands will begin displaying the magazine by the first week of the first month printed on the cover.

I received an invoice for my subscription, how should I pay it?

You can log in to your account and pay online, you can call our office and pay over the phone, or you can mail a check to:

How do I purchase a gift subscription?

Gift subscriptions can be purchased on our website.


 

Can I purchase multiple gift subscriptions?

Yes. You can purchase as many gift subscriptions as you like, and they can be purchased online.


 

If I purchase a gift subscription, who gets the renewal reminder?

We always attempt to reach the gift-giver first to see if you’d like to renew your gift. If the subscription doesn’t get renewed by the deadline for the next issue, the renewal reminder will be sent to the gift recipient.


 

I have a promo code, where do I enter it?

Please enter your promo code on the website when placing your online order.


 

How much does a subscription cost?

1-year (6 issues) is $16, 2 years (12 issues) is $28, and 3 years (18 issues) is $35.

How do I notify you of my change of address?
Login to your account online to change your mailing address or call our office and we’ll be happy to help.


 

Do you sell my email address or other personal information to a third party?

No, absolutely not. Your information is secure and is used for magazine content and renewal reminders only.
