Michael Heintzman to Present Free Reading of New Play UnConditional at Auburn Public Theatre
AUBURN, NY — August 15, 2026 — Playwright Michael Heintzman and TrueNorth Theatre Project have announced a special, free public reading of UnConditional, a compelling new play exploring themes of transformation and shared human struggle. The reading will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Auburn Public Theatre, free to the public.
With the provocative tagline, “Change… do not attempt alone,” UnConditional delves into the very vulnerable journey of navigating life’s deep personal changes.
“This play examines the how we react to ourselves and our loved ones when life changes course,” said playwright Michael Heintzman. “We are thrilled to bring this new work to life for the first time to the Auburn community, free of charge.”
The upcoming reading offers local theatregoers an intimate look at a new script in development, featuring dynamic storytelling and rich dramatic performances by professional actors and directors.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York
State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Auburn Public Theatre.
