Learn to create pastel and pencil portraits that capture your subjects’ (human and/or animal) true essence and emotion. The instructor will guide students through drafting principles like proportion and structure, techniques for lost and found edges, methods to layer and blend, and tips to evaluate color, light, and shadow to create form and volume. Individual instruction provided for all students. All skill levels are welcome! Participants should bring a few photos of their subject from different angles for reference.
