Through October 29, “After Life” features four of the Gallery Partners, Gil Maker, Don Menges, Luann Pero, and John Solberg.
They invite you to visit Image City and enjoy photos of the often-ignored beauty of that “After Life” period when plants transition from their summer displays to the Fall and Winter. Nature’s underlying structures are revealed; seeds are sent freely on the wind to begin the cycle of life once again; old skeletons of trees still holding their place. All of this is part of the cycle of botanical life.
Then, too, there is remembering of the life-before — the human lives — honored with little monuments along the road among the grasses, trees and fields.
In addition, visiting Artist Megan Crandlemire joins us for her second show. In addition, a group of Camera Rochester Photographers exhibit in the Neuberger Gallery. Guest Photographers include Amy Carpenter, Andrea Gluckman, Debbie Haskins, Jane Hopkins, Kay Nowicki, Bob Pease, and Julie Oldfield. The rest of the Galley Partners, Dick Bennett, Marie Costanza, Steve Levinson, Betsy Phillips, and Sheridan Vincent will also exhibit their work.
