Drawing is the foundation of all visual art and in this class students learn to translate the 3-D world onto a 2-D surface with surprising accuracy and versatility. We explore our perception of shapes, value, color and other art elements to make good drawings. We review how some basic shapes guide the expression of our world and find how identifying “plumb lines” and critical intersections helps build our accuracy. Finally, we practice how to design good compositions (even worthy of framing!). So, grab your pencils (and some colors, crayons, etc) and join us! You’ll never see the world the same way!
