FINGER LAKES NATIONAL FOREST ANNOUNCES DATE FOR THE 24th ANNUAL YOUTH FISHING DERBY
The Finger Lakes National Forest is pleased to announce that their 24th annual Youth Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Potomac Pond, located on Potomac Road in Hector, New York. Prizes will be awarded and food will be available. Please join us for this fun event.
Youth ages 2-12 are eligible to participate. Preregistration is required again this year with registration being limited to the first 100 kids. The registration limit is in place in order to ensure that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience. It also helps in event planning to make sure that there will be enough food and beverages on hand for the celebration.
The deadline for registration is Friday, April 26th – please contact the Hector Ranger District Office at (607) 546-4470 if you have questions or need additional information.
