The Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts will be offering an opportunity to meet and sketch with artists of the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators (GNSI) Elizabeth Morales, InShik Lee and Lucy Gagliardo on Sunday April 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. This will be a free event and is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Guild and its work in scientific illustration. Specimens for drawing will be supplied, and drawing materials will be provided free of charge. The event takes place in the beautiful, light-filled auditorium of the Trumansburg Conservatory.
The sketch event coincides with the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators member show at the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts. This show features diverse works from group members in a variety of media and has open gallery hours on Fridays and Sundays 1 to 5 p.m. Show runs through May 12.
