Rochester WHEC-TV recently interviewed the shipwreck discovery team of Jim Kennard, Roger Pawlowski, and Roland Stevens. The men have discovered numerous sunken ships in the Great Lakes, and Lake Ontario is among the areas discussed in the new book Shipwrecks of Lake Ontario: A Journey of Discovery.
The team talks about the HMS Ontario, which was discovered by them in Lake Ontario. It is the oldest complete sunken British warship in the world, and the oldest shipwreck in the Great Lakes.

Local journalist Laurel Wemett recently reviewed the book, which can be found in the upcoming November/December 2019 issue of Life in the Finger Lakes magazine. The latest issue will be available on newsstands toward the end of October.
