Professional painter Patrick McPhee conducts workshop

It’s time to think spring, and students will spend a weekend in beautiful Grimes Glen located in Naples. This is the perfect time of year to become reacquainted with mixing effective greens and other colors to celebrate the emergence of flora, creeks, and shadows in the landscape.
This workshop is for artists of all skill levels, studio and plein air painters alike, who are drawn to the outdoor painting experience. Patrick will overview his process from the sketch to the finished piece. With over two decades of painting experience, this is a great opportunity to get some great tips for plein air painting. Let Patrick teach you some new painting skills.
Meet up point is Grimes Glen parking lot. Bathrooms are available on site. We’ll start at 9 a.m. with a demonstration at the site. After the demonstration, participants will paint the scene of their choosing. The workshop closes on Sunday with a critique.
