Pittsford Fine Art will be presenting a special exhibit this May, focusing on the PGA tournament that is coming to town. Ten of the gallery’s 23 member artists have created unique golf-themed artwork for the month of May, and in particular for the PGA tournament week. The group display of golf artwork will be featured front and center in the gallery.

“Knowing what a big deal it is to have the PGA Championship tournament in town, we decided to mix things up a little,” said Chris Manaseri, one of the gallery’s founding members, and one of the artists participating in the group show. “We invited our artists to capture the excitement on paper and canvas, and to create one-of-a-kind art souvenirs of the event.”

Not only will the display of golf art remain for the full month of May, but during tournament week, the gallery is offering a 20% discount on almost all of the original art on its walls – more than 100 pieces – as part of the Pittsford Chamber of Commerce’s business promotion in its members’ shops and restaurants.

Local artists participating in the golf art group exhibit include: Kathy Armstrong, Kathy Bolin, Victoria Brzusztowicz. Brenda Cretney, Connie Ehindero, Chris Manaseri, Bill Mowson, Lee Ogden, Jeff Tokarz and Kathleen Warren.

The gallery, located at 4 North Main Street in Pittsford, is open every day but Monday, and will be open every day of PGA Tournament Week, May 15-21 until 8 p.m.
