It’s been nice to see people out walking, biking, boating and enjoying the warm weather over Memorial Day weekend. As businesses anxiously await their turn to open, Phase 2 of the reopening will take place this weekend. Some of the businesses included in this phase are storefront retailers, hair stylists, real estate agents and barbers. The Flick Gallery at the Arts Center of Yates County will reopen on Monday, June 1 at 10 a.m. Artworks by local and regional artists for sale or just come by and enjoy seeing what your favorite artists have been up to! Open M-F 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Masks must be worn in the Gallery.

The Ward W. O’Hara Agricultural and Country Living Museum/Dr. Joseph F. Karpinski Educational center is closed until Phase four takes place. We are eager to open and to receive visitors again. There have been many updates to the museum since we closed in March. The museum has installed a new heating system, the entire inside of the museum has been painted, and many new displays have been set up. We will open as soon as we get word from the state.
