One World Goods Brings Global Consciousness to
Local Shoppers on Saturday, May 13th with World Fair Trade Day
Globally conscious shoppers in the Rochester area will have the opportunity to turn their passion into purchases on Saturday, May 13th from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., as local retailer One World Goods celebrates World Fair Trade Day.
Located in Pittsford Plaza on Monroe Avenue, One World Goods will celebrate and promote the work of international artisans as part of World Fair Trade Day.
The schedule of events is as follows:
- 1:00 pm-3:00 pm Sari Demo
- 1:00 pm-5:00 pm Canaan Olive Oil Sampling
- 1:30 pm-4:30 pm Children’s Crafts/Mother’s Day Card Creation
- 2:30 pm-4:30 pm Sample South African dishes created by Chef Laurie Taille
- 3:00 pm-5:00 pm Scarf Tying Demo
A drawing for an OWG gift card will be held in the afternoon for customers who sign up for OWG’s email list. Information about fair trade will be featured throughout the store.
