The Mill Art Center and Gallery in Honeoye Falls will host the Rochester Art Club 2020 Signature Member Art Exhibition starting Feb. 26 and running through April 3. Many of the artists will be on hand for a March 5 reception and awards ceremony that is free and open to the public.
The annual exhibition, held for the first time at Mill Art Center and Gallery, is a juried show open only to Rochester Art Club member artists who already passed a review of their work by a jury of their club’s most senior members. Each year, the exhibition, which has been held at select galleries around the Rochester area, features the latest notable work by some of the region’s most respected professional artists.
While the work on display is available for purchase, the exhibit itself is free. The Mill Art Center is at 61 N. Main St., Honeoye Falls, and is open Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursdays 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and other times by appointment (email millartcenter@gmail.com).
The reception and awards event will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit is on Mill’s second floor and is not handicap accessible.
