National Women’s Hall of Fame’s Announces Ticket Sales for the 2023 Induction Ceremony

Tickets for the September 30 Induction Ceremony are available through the Smith Opera House 

The National Women’s Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that tickets for its 31st Induction Ceremony are on sale now. This year’s induction ceremony will be heldat the historic Smith Opera House in Geneva, NY on Saturday, September 30 at 2pm and will honor the achievements of eight remarkable women: Patricia Bath, Elouise Cobell,Kimberlé Crenshaw, Peggy McIntosh, Judith Plaskow, Loretta Ross, Allucquére Rosanne “Sandy” Stone, and Anna Wessels Williams 

All living 2023 Inductees are expected to attend the Ceremony in person, and Inductees receiving their honors posthumously will be represented by close family and friends.  2021 Inductee Indra Nooyi is serving as Honorary Chair and will be present to provide opening remarks.   

“In a few short months, people from across the nation will come together in celebration of a historic class of women who have helped change the world,” said Hall executive director Jennifer Gabriel. “The Induction Ceremony is infused with a collective hope for a better tomorrow, and I urge you to join us in person for this momentous event.”

The ceremony will also be streamed live on the Hall’s YouTube channel. 

In addition to the 2023 Induction Ceremony, the Hall is hosting an open house on Sunday, October 1 from 11 am-4pm at the historic 1844 Seneca Knitting Mill (1 Canal Street, Seneca Falls, NY). This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.

About the National Women’s Hall of Fame Inductee Selection Process 

The 2023 Inductees were nominated by the public and judged by an independent National Panel of Judges, an interdisciplinary team of experts across the nominees’ fields. An independent Inductee Selection Committee reviews finalists and makes the final recommendations for Inductees.  Honorees are recognized for their invaluable contributions to American society in the areas of the arts, athletics, business, education, government, humanities, philanthropy, and science.
