Linden Wine Series Announces 2025–2026 Winter Season

Fourth Year of Celebrating the Finger Lakes Food & Beverage Community

The Linden Wine Series proudly announces its 2025–26 Winter Season, marking the fourth year of a collaborative tasting experience designed to celebrate the food and beverage industry of the Finger Lakes and Downtown Geneva. Known for attracting locals and visitors alike who appreciate exceptional wines – especially the Finger Lakes – along with a newly expanded inclusion of curated cocktails and craft brews, Geneva has become one of New York’s most dynamic dining and drinking destinations.

The Linden Wine Series brings together the best of this scene through five themed tasting events hosted across six Linden Street businesses: VINIFERANewYork,Microclimate, FLXProvisions,LindenSocial,Hogwallow, andRustyPig. Each venue contributes its own distinctive style, flavors, and atmosphere, creating a tasting route that embodies the spirit and creativity of Geneva’s culinary community.

The series has been intentionally moved to the winter months to give residents and visitors more opportunities to enjoy engaging, high-quality experiences during the colder season—supporting local businesses during a traditionally slower time of year and reinforcing Geneva’s position as a year-round destination.

A Celebration of Geneva’s Signature Strength: Food & Drink

“This series shines a spotlight on what truly sets Geneva apart—the quality, creativity, and passion of our food and beverage community,” said Jim Cecere, Owner of VINIFERA New York and Chair of the Linden Wine Series Planning Team. “People come to Geneva for world-class wines, inspired cocktails, and incredible craft brews. The Linden Wine Series brings that experience to life in the winter months, giving people fun, exciting reasons to spend time downtown during a season when options are normally limited.”

Cecere continued, “This is our fourth year, and every year the energy grows. The series celebrates the very best of what Linden Street and the Finger Lakes region offer. And it supports the local businesses that make Geneva such a vibrant destination.”

Joe Kennedy, Owner of the Linden Social, emphasized how the winter setting adds to the magic: “Linden Street has a special charm in the winter—warm lights, great drinks, amazing food, and the sense of community that brings people together. The Linden Wine Series is a perfect way to enjoy Geneva when the weather turns cold. It’s fun, it’s social, and it showcases the incredible talent and hospitality of our local food and beverage industry. We’re thrilled to be part of it.”

How the Events Work

Each tasting event runs 6 to 8 p.m., with registration opening at 5:30 p.m. Linden Street will be closed during this period, allowing participants to walk the street and enjoy each of the locations, where the tastings will mainly be inside the participating business.

  • Food options at each participating venue
  • Live music rotating among locations
  • Bottle and product purchasing opportunities
  • A warm, energetic indoor tasting experience across Linden Street’s six businesses Participants receive a stamp at each location to complete their passport.

A New Winter Tradition for Downtown Geneva

The decision to move the series fully into the winter season reflects a shared commitment to offering high-quality experiences during months when the community needs it most.

“This series gives people something special to look forward to,” said Cecere. “It brings energy to downtown, supports local businesses, and offers residents and visitors fun, meaningful ways to enjoy Geneva in every season, not just summer.”
