Lake Ontario’s Wine Trail, a celebrated collection of family-owned wineries, cideries, and breweries, is thrilled to announce its highly-anticipated annual holiday event, “Christmas Around the World.” This festive celebration not only captures the essence of the season but also embodies the spirit of supporting local businesses in our community.

“Christmas Around the World” is set to take place on December 2 and 3 from 11 to 6 p.m., offering a unique and immersive holiday experience at each participating venue. Each location has selected a different country and will be pairing their wines, ciders, or beers with different foods from their chosen country!  There are 12 locations to visit over the course of the weekend, including two wonderful associate members.

Each participating winery, cidery, and brewery on Lake Ontario’s Wine Trail will transform their venue into a different country’s holiday atmosphere. Guests will have the opportunity to explore and taste their way through traditions from around the world. As a collective of family-owned businesses, Lake Ontario’s Wine Trail places immense emphasis on supporting local communities. “Christmas Around the World” is an opportunity for visitors to experience the fruits of the region firsthand, from beautifully crafted wines and ciders to unique seasonal brews.

Some of the venues, in particular the two associate member shops, will also offer a curated selection of holiday gifts and products, showcasing local artisans and businesses. It’s a perfect opportunity for attendees to find unique, one-of-a-kind presents for loved ones this holiday season.

Audrey Allen, a spokesperson for Lake Ontario’s Wine Trail, expressed her excitement about the event, saying, “We are absolutely thrilled to present ‘Christmas Around the World’ to our community for another year. It’s a special occasion that not only captures the magic of the holiday season but also emphasizes our commitment to supporting local businesses. Our family-owned wineries, cideries, and breweries are at the heart of this celebration, and we invite everyone to join us in the festivities.”
