CFCU Summer Concert Series
Thursday, September 2
6 to 8 p.m.
This week’s penultimate concert features Danielle Ponder, a powerful soul singer from Rochester. You will not want to miss this week’s show! Last year for our virtual concert series Danielle Ponder drew our highest viewership with nearly 7,000 views. Ponder is both empowering and a powerhouse. In 2018, after five years as a public defender, she made the gutsy decision to quit and pursue her No.1 passion – music.
Danielle’s forthcoming album, Some of Us Are Brave (due this fall) — self-produced with help from Dave Drago and musical director Avis Reese — is a mix of complicated emotions covering social justice, love, and self-worth. The current forecast is looking perfect at 70 and sunny, let’s hope it holds up.
