Free for ages 5 and older on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m., guests can try their hand at wakeboarding, wake skating or tryout the AquaGlide, a giant floating obstacle course. Liquid Force and Roseland Wake Park are partnering to provide one day of free watersports to anyone attends this Free For All event. Even if you know how to wakeboard already you can take advantage of free time on the cable park course including rentals. The staff anticipates heavy traffic so creating a profile online at roselandwakepark is the most efficient way for guests to participate in this event. All activities are on a first come, first serve basis.
Three Liquid Force Pro riders will be at the wake park putting on exhibitions at 12 noon and 4 p.m. plus giving hands on lessons and coaching tips to guests on that day. Hence the name, Free for All, everything will be free at Roseland Wake Park during this event. Again, watersports activities are based on a first come, first serve basis. The AquaGlide, a floating obstacle course with a giant water trampoline, a 16’ climbing wall, balance beams and a huge pillow, will also be open to the public free of charge. Love to wake board but don’t have a board? No problem, rentals are free during the Free for All event. Free hot dogs and chips will also be available all day.
“Our goal is to introduce as many people as possible to wakeboarding,” remarks, Co-Owner, Dave Clements. “Our staff has taught over 2,000 people to wakeboard since opening day last summer. The response to having the only cable wake park in the Northeast located right here in Canandaigua, has been extremely positive,” exclaims, Clements.
From 5 p.m. Thursday, June 16, through 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, there will be amusement attractions provided by Midway Rides of Utica, across from Roseland Wake Park in honor of the 91th Anniversary milestone of the original Roseland Amusement Park. These rides are not part of the Free promotion on Saturday and there is a charge for tickets. Roseland Waterpark will open for its 16th season on Saturday, June 25, 2016.
