According to merriam-webster.com, a food truck is a large wheeled vehicle from which food is sold that typically contains cooking facilities where the food is prepared.
What the dictionary website doesn’t mention is that there a darn lot of them around the entire country, and the Finger Lakes Region is no exception. It seems that no matter where you go now, to any event or niche business, a food truck will be there, ready to serve your culinary needs. And the food is eclectic – burgers, macaroni and cheese, sushi, wraps, barbeque. The list goes on and on.
We are showing you a small cross section of the food truck options within the 14-county region. There are many more to choose from. You can find them randomly when you’re out and about, and you can also research them online and see where a specific one will be on any given day.
Check them out this summer wherever you are. You might be surprised at the variety of food you can eat!
