THE NEW YORK WINE & CULINARY CENTER’S WINE CLUB SERIES TAKES IN-DEPTH LOOK AT “CLASSIC SIX”
The New York Wine & Culinary (NYWCC) has launched the Wine Club, a tasting series to be held one Sunday of each month. Beginning in January 2018, wine enthusiasts, novice to experienced, will take an in-depth look into viticulture. Learn where the grapes for each wine originate, where those grapes can be found in the world today, and taste examples to discover how location effects wine.
Through the series, guests will learn about the Classic Six – Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc. Each class concludes with a tasting review and hors d’oeuvres during class discussion.
“One of our greatest accomplishments at The New York Wine & Culinary Center is bringing people together to enjoy and indulge, while learning about our favorite things – wine, food, and spirits,” said Bethany DiSanto, General Manager. “This series offers the opportunity for a group to come together again and again, while learning about what makes wine exciting! We are thrilled to host this recurring event and share this experience with wine enthusiasts in the area.”
The Wine Series will be held on:
January 7th – Chardonnay
February 4th – Cabernet Sauvignon
March 4th – Merlot
April 15th – Riesling
May 6th – Sauvignon Blanc
June 3rd – Pinot Noir
Guests can purchase the full series ($180) or each class individually ($40).
