Trumansburg Farmers Market

Trumansburg Farmers’ Market kicks off our 20th Anniversary!

Trumansburg, NY — The Trumansburg Farmers’ Market launches its 2022 season on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

We are excited to unveil our vendor lineup and music schedule.

The Market will run every Wednesday from May through October, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Village Park on the corner of Routes 227 and 96.

People come to the market for the sense of community – they have dinner, listen to music, shop the goods, and hang out with friends.

We’ll celebrate our 20th Anniversary at a special market on July 20, 2022.

The Market has more than forty vendors providing produce, eggs, cheeses, and meat, bedding plants, baked goods, beverages (alcoholic and non), honey and maple syrup, body care products, cut flowers, artisan goods, and prepared foods, all grown or made by the vendors.

We will have a lineup of 30 bands to provide entertainment while you shop, eat dinner or just sit and sip the local wines and brews.  This year we have expanded the food truck experience to include vegan and vegetarian options.

Several local businesses have already signed on to support the Market, including Tompkins Trust Co. and Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival as Tier 1 sponsors.  To explore the full details of our sponsorship program please visit the Market’s website. “Working with sponsors helps us expand the Market’s influence and ensure that the entire community knows the resources we can provide,” said Debbie Biltonen, president of the Market Board.

The Trumansburg Farmers Market is committed to providing access to healthy food via SNAP and other nutrition programs.

“With many of us still concerned about Covid we encourage the use of masks, though they are not mandatory. Hand sanitizer is available,” said Market Manager Natalie Baris. “Farmers’ markets are an essential resource, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to serve the community.”
