The Dove Block Project

Categories No Categories

Artist Cherry Rahn presents interpretations of her “micro” observations of the effects of sunlight, reflection, and distortion of organic forms at the water’s edge of Seneca Lake. Rahn says of her work, “What I like most about this project is the complexity and ambiguity of the natural model I work from.  I take a photo into the water at the edge of the lake, zoom far into it and explore until I get lost. Then I can interpret and edit the visual elements in my mind’s eye, yet retain the organic origins of the images.” Opening: Saturday, November 12, 4–6 pm
