Image City Photography Gallery’s first exhibit of 2024 is the 17th annual juried theme show, The Magic of Light 2024, featuring 85 photographers and over 100 photographs. Each photographer submitted digital images which were then reviewed by Image City jurors. The best were selected for the exhibit. Three awards, $150 cash from Image City Photography Gallery, a $150 gift certificate from Lumiere Photo and Frame and a $150 gift certificate from Archival Methods will be presented. The photographs in the show demonstrate an exceptional collection that covers the full gamut of creative styles, themes, genre, and presentation. The photograph featured on promotional materials is Light….. as a Feather by Chris Chito. Gallery Partners are exhibiting photographs in the Neuberger Gallery.
The exhibit runs from January 2 thru January 21. The opening reception will be held at the Gallery on Friday, January 5 from 5 to 9pm. Note that for The Magic of Light 2024, Image City is extending the exhibit to include Mondays, January 8, and 15 to give more opportunities to visit.
The announcement of the winning photographs presented by sponsors Lumiere Photo and Frame and by Archival Methods and by Image City will be announced in the Image City upcoming newsletter prior to the reception date.
