The Echomen reunite once again, after more than 50 years performing together! Group members include lead guitarist – Gary Ventura, drummer – Steve Cocola, bass guitarist – Jim Harrison, saxophone and vocalist – Jim Richmond, & keyboardist – Don Damick. First performing together in eighth grade, the group was managed by their fathers. They produced one single, “Talk is Cheap” that became popular all over the Finger Lakes!
The Echomen modeled themselves after another popular Geneva band, Wilmer and the Dukes, and played a number of their songs as well as a lot of 1960s classical, soul, R&B and classic rock covers, including tunes by Wilson Pickett, James Brown, the Rascals and the Temptations.
