Students will use a variety of traditional and non-traditional painting techniques in watercolor, acrylic, oil-based paint pen, and gouache to create surfaces. They will study color theory and the principles of design while utilizing graphite pencil, charcoal, and pen and ink drawing techniques on various surfaces, including paper, canvas, and kiln-fired clay.
