Join us for a day of learning and practicing wild basketry! In this class, participants will begin or build on their knowledge of making a Ribbed Basket, using common plants found on the landscape.
Materials – Mostly Red Osier Dogwood and shrub willows for this class, which will be provided. Instruction will be given on how to harvest different materials for your future basket endeavors.
Please note that this kind of basketry is demanding on your finger and hand muscles.
To-Bring List: Food and water bottle for the day, a good pair of hand pruners, and clothes to be comfortable inside and outside.
