Author Mya Thompson will read from her new children’s book called “Ruby’s Birds”—a story about a young girl who discovers the fascination of bird watching. The artwork by Claudia Dávila remains faithful to the real-life plumage and anatomy of the birds Ruby sees on a walk through her city neighborhood. “Ruby’s Birds” will be available in the Wild Birds Unlimited store in the Cornell Lab observatory and those making a purchase will also receive a free bird feeder.
