Come together to read and consider The Displaced, an important book that examines, in an array of humanizing, first-person essays, the experiences of a wide variety of people forced to flee their homes. In this second of three sessions, we’ll focus on the collection’s editor, an author and the son of Vietnamese refugees, through a selection of interviews he’s given. This is one of the key issues of our moment in history – take the time to understand it beyond the headlines and agendas. Attend in person at Penn Yan Public Library, or join us via Zoom by registering at http://tinyurl.com/mwvdr265. Presented by the Penn Yan Action Coalition. Contact: pyactioncoalition@gmail.com.
