If you love spending time in natural areas and want to learn how to protect them, then join Cornell Plantations’ Natural Areas Academy (NAA) this spring! We will focus on creating a rain garden, invasive species control, native plants, and site preparation. These workshops along with management practices learned and re-enforced through directed stewardship efforts in Plantations’ natural areas can be practiced on any scale, including your yard. The Spring program culminates in participants helping to construct a beautiful rain garden at Cornell Plantation’s Mundy Wildflower Garden. Pre-registration is required.
