Build your own Native American-style flute at this weekend workshop, June 2-4. Hands-on creativity and a chance to express your personality through this easy-to-learn instrument.
This workshop features a Friday night introductory session (6-8 pm), Saturday workshop (10am-4pm), and Sunday practice session (10am-1pm). Participants will build a simple wooden flute from a kit and learn to play basic melodies while enjoying a weekend of creativity. If you have never played an instrument or can’t read music but wish to play or sing the songs of your heart, this workshop is for you. Presenters Jan Carr and Eileen Curtis will guide you in building and playing your own flute to take home and enjoy. Materials and tools are provided.
Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch are included in basic class fee of $135; other meals are on your own.
