The 1815 Naples Red Mill was a full-service grist mill that attracted people from the entire area because of its modern grinding equipment and the high quality of its products. It had the same kind of attraction to the people of that time that Wegman’s has today. Learn why people came from miles and miles around Naples to get their grinding done at the Red Mill and to do their shopping on Main Street.
Past President Wayne Buchar will present the History of Naples Red Mill and give a progress report on the Historical Society’s plans for stabilization, restoration, and a future Naples History and Event Center.
