This is the Dove Block Project arts center’s first juried exhibit, Music of the Eye: In the Spirit of Arthur Dove. The community is invited to a public reception Saturday, April 15, 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a 5 pm. award ceremony. Jurors selected 26 works from 97 entries submitted by 45 artists. This exhibit showcases work of Finger Lakes artists, calling attention to Dove’s influence on these artists whose work embodies his journey into abstract, non-objective paintings inspired by the forms, rhythms, and colors of nature. Exhibit runs through 5/6. Feel free to visit anytime the Dove is open. Email
