Join the Finger Lakes Museum & Aquarium and PackPaddleSki on this early summer paddle along the shimmering waters of Canadice Lake, one of the few undeveloped Finger Lakes managed by the Department of Environmental Conservation. Practice maneuvering skills in a kayak, learn about the history of Canadice and The Little Lakes, hear about the new museum, look for wildlife – including bald eagles – and enjoy a delicious lunch. All levels of experience are welcome and children ages 11 and up may attend with a responsible guardian. This program is being run in support with PackPaddleSki and is led by Finger Lakes Museum and Aquarium environmental educator, Angela Cannon-Crothers. Cost for the event is $50 (includes boat, life jacket, and lunch) or $35 if you bring your own boat. To register, call 585-346-5597. Limited to 12 participants, register by June 15th.
