Joe’s Book Discussion Series: The Damnation of Theron Ware by Harold Fredric
In this six-month reading and discussion series, Library Director Joe O’Toole will use fiction to explore different time periods and locations in New York State. The series starts with The Damnation of Theron Ware. After being sent to a small upstate New York village, a minister grapples with fitting in with the longtime residents and their way of life. This internal struggle begins to ruin his life. This series is sponsored by grants from Humanities New York and the Friends of the Lyons Public Library.
