In Search of Twilight Birds at the Sterling Nature Center – a Finger Lakes Birding Festival Event
6:30-8:30pm Thursday March 26, Friday March 27 and Saturday March 28 ($5/person)
The time around sunset is sometimes referred to as the golden hour; you never know what wildlife might be active during this time. Birds are coming in to rest for the night, others are getting ready for their nighttime migration flights, starting to hunt or court. We will explore Lake Ontario, wetlands, woodlands and fields in pursuit of owls, woodcock, waterfowl, raptors and songbirds.Pre-registration is required, space is limited, to register go to http://montezuma.audubon.org/
