Historic Palmyra’s Annual Steak Dinner Fundraiser
Join Historic Palmyra on April 21st, 5:30-8:30 pm, at the Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William St., Palmyra, for their annual Steak Dinner Fundraiser. Tickets are $25/person pre-sale (available online or at the museums) or $30/person at-the-door. You can expect a great meal, grilled to your preference by their volunteers and served to your seat. There will also be a silent auction with many items sponsored by community organizations, businesses, and donors. A live auction will feature exciting items including a quilt made by Becke Tomkiewicz that features historical LDS-themed images and an original painting by Cheryl VanDenburg. This event is an important fundraiser for Historic Palmyra, so not only can you expect a great time but you will also be supporting its important work in preserving history and educating visitors.
HISTORIC PALMYRA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the history and architectural heritage of Palmyra, New York. Once known as the “Queen of Erie Canal towns,” Palmyra boasts an astonishing array of architecture, ranging from the early 1800’s to Victorian era grandeur. Historic Palmyra’s mission is to save the history of Palmyra and vicinity through the preservation of architecture, artifacts, and archives. Historic Palmyra teaches and educates through the five museums and their collections, welcoming thousands of visitors each year.
