Inns of Aurora - Schoolhouse

Join Linda Schwab, Village of Aurora Historian, for a gentle hike through the village and across the fields to the sacred site of the Council Tree oak. This site was occupied by the Cayuga nation of the Haudenosaunee during the “Woodland” period until 1779, when the Sullivan-Clinton campaign came to Aurora during the Revolutionary War. Learn about this important and fascinating place while enjoying some fresh air and an outdoor adventure. Please arrive at the Schoolhouse at 1:45 p.m. This hike is free and open to all. Advance registration is appreciated. www.innsofaurora.com/activities 315.364.8050
