Artist Theda Sandiford will lead a rope making workshop April 15, 2023, that will be part artist talk, part demonstration, and part group discussion of microaggressions. Participants will turn old textiles and scrap fabric into rope while participating in a conversation about “respectability politics” of hair and whatever else may be on their minds. Materials will be provided.
The workshop is free with admission to the Schweinfurth, but space is limited. Registration is required on our website.
