Ignite your culinary imagination this summer as you join the kraut mob, discover delicious regional products at the vendor fair, and take in presentations and demonstrations from fermentation experts about everything from gut health to sourdough to homebrewed beer. If you’ve ever wondered how to make your own kombucha or what all the fuss is about the microbiome, this science-infused day of food, drink, and fermented fun will answer all of your questions and more!
The festivities will be headed by the illustrious fermentation educator Soirée-Leone, who will end the day with a keynote presentation on “How We Eat and Fermentation.”
Families can also enjoy a family-oriented workshop on fermented foods, the sticky, slimy fermentation petting zoo, kid-friendly crafts, and more!
