Welcome to this first class in oil painting with one of our regular instructors, Steve Duprey. Steve will demonstrate and coach the steps for creating interesting and lively oil paintings. The focus of this class will be on landscapes and still lifes. Students will learn about various concepts, brush techniques, shading and blending, and simple concepts that are often more complicated than we think. Steve will also go over art basics, such as hue, value and chroma. This class is suitable for all levels, ages 16+. Students will need to bring their own supplies.
