On Saturday February 12th beginning at 11am all ages and abilities are welcome to attend this free workshop making any or all of the following comfy, warm projects for someone special (Valentine’s Day is right around the corner) or yourself:

Soft Pillow: made with fleece and sewn or tied at the edges
Warm Hat: made with fleece and tied at the top
Mug Cozy: made with fabric, button, and string

These ecofriendly projects will be created using reused or natural materials and will be provided for all participants. Registration is required, space is limited. Contact Lodi Whittier Library to sign up: call 607-582-6218, email director@lodilibrary.net, or stop in.

Our facilitator, Laura Rowley, is the founder of Illuminated Press in Trumansburg NY- an independent publisher crafting books by hand. She also creates art in community through Open Art Hive at various pop-up locations providing free and accessible creative spaces.
