Matilda Joslyn Gage, an early leader in the women’s movement, planned conventions, organized state political parties, spoke at Congressional hearings and at the White House, and wrote books that are still being studied today. Angelica Shirley Carpenter will present historical and contemporary photos and information on this suffragist in a program on March 16th at 7pm.This online program is free and open to the public and brought to you by the Perinton Historical Society and the Fairport Library.
