Local artist Jeannette McDunnah presents a new series of fun art projects for adults! This month, practice the art of encaustic photo transfer: we’ll begin with a brief history of encaustic painting and safety precautions, then learn how to prepare a wood panel to complete the photo transfer, and finally transfer some images, resulting in a visually unique print. And since it’s the Halloween season, you can bet we will be focusing on eerie images! There will be some stock photos available to transfer, but if you would like to use your own photo, please email it to aandrasik@stls.org by October 20th and the library will be sure to have it printed and ready for you. No experience necessary! Presented by Penn Yan Public Library and hosted by LyonSmith Brewing Co.
