Oswego artist Tyrone Johnson-Neuland will give an Artist Talk about his exhibit, Positive, Negative, Shallow, and Deep, at 5:30 p.m. April 7, 2023, as part of Auburn’s First Friday festivities. Johnson-Neuland is this year’s Emerging Artist Project exhibit, with his artwork hanging in the Schweinfurth Art Center and the Cayuga Museum of History & Art simultaneously. His large paintings at the Schweinfurth explore spatial, social, and self awareness. His paintings at the Cayuga Museum explore Panama’s diverse urban, rural, and coastal landscapes.
First Friday events are free and open to the public. Both facilities will be open from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with light refreshments available.
