A Color Explosion! by Luann Pero
Luann uses her camera and artistic skills to create abstract, painterly, and watercolor-like images with muted colors and softened lines. Luann says that “Each flower or tree has a personality to discover. There is a creative poetic magic that I feel when creating a picture. Luann invokes Edgar Degas who once said that “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see when creating the picture.” Luann’s exhibition, is a celebration of the natural world and showcases the stunning beauty of the botanical flora that surrounds us both in her literal and abstract images. Her images inspire viewers to create their own stories. Whether it’s in the intricate details of a flower or the grandeur of an age-old tree reflected in the water or her montages of multiple images, her show inspires a sense of wonder that captures the rhythm and beauty found in nature.
