You won’t find a curb (or sidewalk) for miles when Skaneateles’ Curbstone Festival and Sidewalk Sales return Sept. 12.
The event, rescheduled from July due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been relocated to Baltimore Woods Nature Center, 4007 Bishop Hill Road, Marcellus.
There you can enjoy the great outdoors, while finding fantastic deals and learning about area nonprofits.
“We’re so grateful to Baltimore Woods for providing this beautiful outdoor setting for the festival,” said Hilary Fenner, executive director of the Skaneateles Area Chamber of Commerce, organizer of the event. “We look forward to seeing everyone out shopping and enjoying themselves!”
Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Entertainment will be provided by The On Bass Jazz Trio (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and the Bubbleman (starting at 3:30 p.m.). The Bubbleman’s appearance is sponsored by SECNY Federal Credit Union.
Merchants taking part include the American School of Charm, Board & Brush, Camillus Kayak Shop, Challenge Island, Doce Lume Farm, Hobby House Toys, Ice Hot Concepts, Lole Skaneateles/The Wandering Kind Shop, Nest 58, Sakran & Shaw, Sea Culture Brand, Sugarfoot Apparel and The Savage Homestead.
Participating organizations include Baltimore Woods, the Barrow Art Gallery, Skaneateles Area Chamber of Commerce, Skaneateles Ski Hill and Skaneateles YMCA.
She Rents Vintage will offer a photoshoot area where shoppers can take selfies.
All New York State Department of Health regulations for outdoor events will be followed. Masks and social distancing are required; attendance is limited. Learn more and register for a two-hour time slot at https://www.skaneateles.com/calendar/annual-events/curbstone-festival.
