Aimee Ward, the Executive Director of ChamberFest Canandaigua, announces that a virtual version of this year’s festival will go on!
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce that the team behind ChamberFest Canandaigua has been working hard to find a way to bring you this year’s Festival in light of all that is happening in our communities and in the world. The Festival will go on!
We’ve made some major changes, adapting this year’s event for the well-being of our performers and supporters while still bringing music to the community and ensuring the spirit of the Festival remains strong and vibrant. Naturally, all while dreaming of a 2021 event where we can gather in person once again!
This year, the venue will be in the comfort and safety of your home. In July, we will offer 4 concerts featuring our world-class Festival artists in an interactive online setting. You can also plan on our annual Children’s Concert and Classical Blue Jeans event. These performances will all be brought to you at no cost. This is our way of thanking you for your ongoing support while helping to spread joy and light with inspired performances.
It’s true that there is no substitute for live performance, but we think you’ll find this new approach to be surprisingly fulfilling on its own merits. We believe in adapting and embracing the opportunity to share, celebrate beauty, and interact meaningfully with one another.
You’ll hear more from us in the next few weeks, including links to RSVP for each concert and additional details on what to expect from our performers. Thank you again for being part of the extended ChamberFest Canandaigua family!
