The Center for the Arts of Homer is proud to announce two prestigious accolades recognizing their 20 years of service to the Central New York community as a non-profit arts organization.
State Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan awarded the Center for the Arts an official NYS Assembly Citation on May 12, 2023, acknowledging their two decades of dedicated service.
On May 14, 2023, the Honorable New York State Senator Lea Webb presented a NYS Senate proclamation commending the Center for the Arts as an “outstanding organization worthy of the esteem of the entire community and the state of New York.”
Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Ty Marshal, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts of Homer, acknowledged the efforts of the staff, board of directors, volunteers, sponsors, and donors who have contributed to the organization’s success over the years. “The Center continues to enrich the community by providing access to various forms of the creative arts, fostering cultural, educational, and civic engagement, and preserving a historic site for future generations. The foundation for the Center’s success was built by our founders 20 years ago, and has been built upon through the dedication and continued support of our community members.”
