Bristol Valley Theater, the Finger Lakes’ award-winning live, professional theater will present Rochester-based band, The Klick, in a free, live, outdoor, and socially distanced concert event on Saturday, May 22nd at 2:00 pm (rain date May 23). The concert is part of Naples’ Swing into Spring Weekend, organized by Explore Naples. The concert event will be free to the public and presented on the front lawn of Bristol Valley Theater, located at 151 S. Main Street, Naples, NY 14512. Limited, socially distanced seating is available.
“BVT is Back!” says Bristol Valley Theater Executive Artistic Director Karin Bowersock. “And before we kick off our outdoor summer season of plays, we wanted to give back to the community who has supported us through a year like no other. We can’t wait to welcome you all back for some funky sounds in the sunshine!”
The concert will feature Rochester-based band The Klick, a band which plays a jazz-infused mix of funk, pop, soul, and R&B and whose six members include current and past members of Hard Logic, Prime Time Funk, Goodness, and Vanishing Sun, among others.
The Swing into Spring Weekend will feature the free outdoor concert event as well as restaurant, shopping & tasting specials throughout the village, a scavenger hunt, a putting contest at Reservoir Creek Golf Course, and a virtual 10k presented by the Naples Youth Corporation.
This concert event will mark the first live performance at the theater since before the shutdown in March of 2020. While the usual six play summer season was presented virtually in 2020, Bristol Valley Theater is returning to live theater for the 2021 season with six plays presented from June 9th through September 4th. The season will be performed outdoors and with socially distanced seating limited to fifty audience members per performance. BVT will also offer virtual streaming options for all performances for those who prefer to watch from home through their streaming partner at showtix4u.com/events/bvt.
